Jehangir Lawyer is a passionate Turophile, Anthropologist, Businessman, Storyteller and Humanitarian all rolled into one.

His journey to become the proud founder of Fortune Gourmet Specialities Pvt Ltd is an interesting one.  He has single handed managed to convert his passion for Gourmet Foods into a successful business model, and brought about a revolution to the F&B industry in India.

The man who believes in rolling up his sleeves and getting into the details of everything even today, is a Director on the Board of the Italian Chamber of Commerce & Industry representing F&B accross all verticals.

He has been mentioned in The Oxford Companion to Cheese, which is the quintessential ‘Bible’ of the Cheese World:

The second accolade which is truly an honor to have an Indian receive, is being invited into what F&B people refer to as the “MASONIC GUILD OF THE CHEESE WORLD” the prestigious Guilds International des Fromagers Confrerie de Saint -Uguzon. 

The organisation is present not only in Switzerland, France, Italy & all over Europe but internationally in 33 countries. Now INDIA has it’s 1st & Asia it’s 3rd member! 

Jay started the company with 6 types of Italian cheese.
Today, Fortune Gourmet draws on a large network of national and international suppliers to provide products that go beyond cheese to include salumi, high-quality meats, seafood and artisanal dry goods. 

He has more than 180 dedicated staff running the organization along with him. For Jay, his staff  &  his principals are not only his strongest assets but more like his extended family and he personally gets involved to keep a tab on their wellbeing and growth.
